Here are a few of my good boys and girls who learned how to greet people politely:

Change Over-The-Top Greeting

Meet Dolly, the adorable Chihuahua who couldn’t contain her excitement when her human mom came home.

Dolly leaped and twirled with joy and affection.  But in her excited frenzy, the pup also nipped and grabbed onto her mom’s clothing and skin, and this was painful for the mom.  She really wanted this to stop.

I shared some simple and easy to implement tips to teach Dolly that polite greetings get her the attention she craves from her mom.

The homecomings are still hallmark moments, but the pup now shares soft kisses.

Do you have a dog like Dolly and want to change their over-the-top greetings? Grab your spot to discover these same tips.

Greet Your Guests Politely

Here’s one of my cute students—Bronco. He just turned 6 months old in the beginning of November.

One of his behaviors we are changing is how he greets new people that come into their home.

He used to rush at them and bark.  With the patience of his humans, he is so much calmer in his 'hellos'

Is this your dog’s behavior that you want to change too? Join my workshop to change your life!

Enjoy Your Walks With The Dogs

Elle and Charlotte were enthusiastic greeters of people that came into the home and on their walks.

In the home they have learned to go to their chair when people come to the door.

On their walks, they are learning to return to the side of their humans when other people approach

Your dog can learn to do this too!  Hop on my workshop to learn the secrets!

I'm Linda The Dog Trainer . . .
And That's Jill in the Pic with Me

I focus on helping pet parents with puppies, teen dogs and rescues start their journey on the right paw. I coach them to avoid the typical mistakes, but sometimes we are called in to help with behavior modification--for pulling like a train on walks, barking at anyone at the door, jumping on people, barking and lunging at other dogs and people, and many more issues.

I grew up with dogs and live with several now, Danny and Jill. But Jack is the one who opened my world to fostering and other pursuits to help other dogs in need.

When you tell me that you feel overwhelmed and exhausted about what you are dealing with, I know what you mean. Jack was a over-reactive dog that I could not keep under threshold when other people came up to us when we were on a leash.

I realized Jack was not the only dog with these issues, which brought me to what I love doing now----To help the other Jacks in the world so you can have a less stressful life with your dog.

We can help with personalized training in your home, in-person group classes or through interactive online classes or self-study options. The in-home and group classes include opportunities to practice in real life scenerios in different Costa Mesa locations. Thank you for visiting Wow Bow Wow!
