Structured Training Residency

with three levels of support depending on your dog’s needs

A private, home-based training experience designed to help your dog become calm, responsive, and easy to live with in real life.

Limited to just two dogs at a time for individualized training.

Does this sound familiar?

• Your young dog pulls hard on leash
• Jumping on guests is becoming a habit
• Barking at every sound in the neighborhood
• Walks feel chaotic instead of enjoyable
• Your dog struggles to relax in the home
• And they're still making potty mistakes in the home

You love your dog.
You just want life to feel easier.

Imagine life with your dog feeling like this:

• Calm, enjoyable walks in your neighborhood
• Guests entering your home without chaos
• A dog who can relax peacefully indoors
• Confidence bringing your dog to parks or patios

The early months shape the next 10–15 years

Young dogs are constantly learning habits. Without structure, behaviors like pulling, barking, and jumping can become lifelong patterns. With the right training early, your dog can develop the habits that make life together enjoyable.

The Foundation Program

This 10 day program is designed to help your puppy learn how to engage with you, settle in your home, and begin navigating the world with guidance and structure.

We focus on building the early habits that shape how your dog listens, responds, and relaxes in everyday life.

Your dog will begin learning how to:
• respond to their name and check in with you
• focus and stay connected in low-distraction environments
• come when called (early recall foundation)
• feel comfortable and relaxed in a crate
• build independence through structured alone time
• develop clear potty training habits
• reduce mouthing and nipping through appropriate outlets and guidance

Outcome: A dog who is more connected to you, easier to manage at home, and off to the right start.

This stage is where we shape how your dog learns — which impacts everything that comes next.

The Everyday Reliability Program

This 4-week program builds on the foundation by helping your dog become more consistent, responsive, confident and easier to live with in everyday situations.

We begin applying your dog’s skills to real-life scenarios so they can make better choices — even when there are more distractions.

Your dog will begin learning how to:
• walk more calmly and with better awareness on leash
• pause and wait when asked (at doors, thresholds, and in daily routines)
• greet people more politely without jumping
• stay more connected to you in moderately distracting environments

We continue reinforcing the foundation skills while adding structure, clarity, and consistency to your dog’s behavior.

Outcome: A dog who is more predictable, more responsive, and noticeably easier to live with day-to-day.

This is where training starts to show up in your daily life.

Each level builds on the previous one — with more time, more real-world exposure, and deeper integration into your everyday life. The goal isn’t just a trained dog, but a companion dog you can truly live with and enjoy.

The Real-World Confidence Program

A 6-week immersive training program designed for real-life results. This program is designed for those who want their dog to feel calm, responsive, and adaptable in real-life environments — not just at home.

We take your dog’s existing skills and begin applying them in more dynamic, real-world settings, helping them stay connected to you even as the environment becomes more challenging.

Your dog will begin learning how to:
• walk calmly and stay connected in busier, more stimulating environments
• respond to you more reliably around distractions (people, dogs, movement)
• settle and relax in a variety of real-world settings
• adapt more confidently to new environments and experiences

Rather than rushing training into a short window, we’ve designed this program over six weeks so your dog has the time to learn, practice, and fully integrate new behaviors into real life.

Outcome: A dog who is confident, adaptable, and balanced in the real world — and easier to bring along and enjoy in everyday life.

For many, this level provides the peace of mind that their dog can handle the real world with confidence and consistency.

WHY THIS PROGRAM IS DIFFERENT:

Most board-and-train programs place dogs in busy kennel facilities.

Our program is intentionally designed as a home-based learning environment, allowing young dogs to develop habits in a calm, structured setting.

Because we accept only two dogs at a time, every dog receives focused training and attention.

About Us

Our mission is to elevate the standard of dog training by delivering an exclusive, concierge-level board and train experience tailored to both dog and owner. Through thoughtfully customized programs designed around each dog’s temperament, needs, and goals, we treat training not as a service, but as a meaningful investment in your dog’s lifelong behavior, confidence, and relationship with you.

Linda Kwoun -
the dog trainer

I am a professional dog trainer and educator focused on helping people raise well-mannered, well-adjusted dogs in busy city environments.

My work sits at the intersection of:
• Dog behavior science
• human coaching
• practical real-world training

I believe training is not simply about teaching commands. It is about building understanding, communication, and trust between dogs and their humans.

I help people who love their dogs deeply but are struggling with behaviors that make daily life harder than it should be.

My role is not just trainer — I am:
• a coach
• an observer of behavior
• a translator between dogs and humans

My goal is to help people experience the kind of relationship with their dog that makes everyday life calmer, easier, and more connected.

Barb West -
the Residency Host

With a distinguished 35-year career in financial services, Barb later devoted herself fully to her lifelong passion—creating and operating a highly regarded holistic Animal Wellness Center. While she has since transitioned from ownership, her commitment to exceptional animal care remains unwavering.

Your dog’s residency and training experience takes place within Barb’s private home—an intentionally serene, thoughtfully curated environment where each dog is welcomed as a valued member of the household. This elevated, home-based setting allows dogs to settle in comfortably, fostering a sense of security, ease, and emotional balance that supports meaningful learning.

To preserve the integrity of this experience, residency is limited to just two dogs at a time. With only one other companion in the home, each dog benefits from a highly personalized approach—receiving attentive care, tailored training, and consistent, enriching interaction throughout their stay.

The property features a spacious, securely enclosed backyard designed for both structured training and relaxed enjoyment. Here, dogs engage in guided exercises, enrichment activities, and restorative downtime—allowing them to practice and integrate new skills in a natural yet carefully managed setting.

This exclusive combination of refined care and intentional structure creates an environment where dogs can build confidence, develop lasting habits, and achieve exceptional progress.

This is more than a place for training—it is a private, boutique residency where your dog’s well-being, comfort, and success are held to the highest standard.
